Renewing for Generations
While much of the focus over the past few years has been on space planning and the design of a building project, there is a strong sentiment among the Building Finance Campaign Committee that our stewardship efforts cannot simply be on raising funds for a building. We recognize that the building is an important resource supporting our Congregation’s ministry and outreach. However, the Committee believes that our efforts are an important opportunity for spiritual growth, individually and as a congregation. Accordingly we have selected “Renewing for Generations” as our campaign theme. We believe the theme captures our commitment not only to renewing the building, but renewing our commitment to the congregation, our community, and most importantly renewing our commitment to God. We also specifically chose the word generations to reflect the significance of the commitment… for Trinity this commitment has been long standing and our faith is everlasting. Just as the founding members of Trinity Lutheran Church made a significant commitment over 50 years ago, it is time for us as a congregation to renew our commitment for generations to come.
We pray that every Trinity member will find a deeper and individual meaning in Renewing for Generations.
