ELCA Disaster Response

The ELCA works to bring God's comfort, healing and renewal to those affected by disasters at home and abroad through the ELCA Disaster Response program.

How can I help?

Trinity provides envelopes in the pew card racks to give money to the program. You may designate a specific disaster to support, or you may just give generally. The ELCA Disaster Response program is long term and stays on to support those affected by disasters even after the crisis has passed to provide ongoing assistance. The program can use contributions at any time.

Often there will be a specific call for funds that the congregation will announce through the Trinitarian or the bulletin, but you can find a list of current responses at the ELCA Disaster Response website.
