LSS Baby Shower
Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area has been serving the widow, orphan and stranger at the gate since 1917. Today, it provides assistance for those in need, including children, refugees, immigrants, and disaster survivors.
What Does Trinity Do?
Trinity's annual Mother's Day baby shower supports adoptive and foster parents by providing new an gently-used clothing and baby supplies. In 2008, the baby shower was sponsored by the Trinity Women's group and was held on May 11 and 18 in memory of Susan Cornwall.
What Can I Do?
Bring baby clothes and supplies to the annual baby shower. Items most needed include baby clothing (0-12 months), car seats, diaper bags, diapers, baby wipes, shampoo, baby bottles, and clothing to size 3T.
