Well, this is a very different newsletter than I was going to originally write. I hope that everyone is doing well and staying healthy. I have been working on some craft projects, and walking the dogs more than usual.
I now have 2 canine co-workers….Brett traps me so that I can keep working, and Rosie wants to get petted all the time.
I don’t know when we will gather again. This is going to go much longer than we originally anticipated. We are lucky at Trinity that we know doctors that are at the front line of this and are advising us. We are also listening to our local & state governments for guidance as well.
My hope is that we can still have our end of the program year celebrations.

Mark your calendars! (and we live in hope!)
May 17 – Youth Group End of the Year trip to Sandy Spring (zipline)
May 31 – End of the Year Picnic & Graduation Sunday
July 25 – Christmas in July! Watch for more information next month.

Please reach out to me if you need help with anything. This is a strange time.

May our social distancing, may our physical distancing never keep us distant from God or from one another.
Anita

PS. Keep the Flat Jesus pictures coming!

Hello Friends!

The summer is a slower time at Trinity, but that doesn’t mean that we’re gone…Things are just different. On July 7, we will begin our summer schedule, with one service at 10 am. Mary B is still looking for folks who are interested in doing some special music during the offering. If you are interested in singing/playing or want to get a group together to play/sing something together, please contact Mary B or the office (office@trinityelca.org).

July 20 – All Trinity Youth age 13 and younger are invited to head over to the Badlands Indoor Playground (http://badlandsplayspace.com/ ) for some play time and fellowship. We will meet there at 9:30 am, and finish up around noon. Please RSVP to me by July 10, to make sure that we have enough reservations.

We will be offering some service projects throughout the summer for our middle and high school youth. Please watch your email for more information on that.

Rising Kindergarten! Please let Anita know if you are entering Kindergarten this fall.

Flat Jesus is BACK! What is Flat Jesus? Flat Jesus is a small laminated cartoon of Jesus, that you take pictures with as you travel. When you get a chance, please email them to me, and we will post pictures throughout the summer. There will be some available at church. Here is the graphic if you want to make one of your own.

Save the picture, print it out, and color it!
Here’s one I took 2 summers ago. This is one example of many. Be creative!

I am out of the office from June 21 – 26. If you have any questions during that time, please contact Pastor Kern or the office. Thank you, and I will see you very soon!
