Coming Together Again as the Body of Christ

Members and Friends of Trinity are invited to join Pr. Kern on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm for an ongoing conversation about Coming Together as the Body of Christ – moving in the future united in faith.  Themes for the sessions include:

+ Trust – dynamics that break it, and actions that build it;
+ Action – changing the way we think by changing what we do;
+ Trinity’s constitution in one act – what does it really say; and,
+ Welcome Pastor! – getting ready to receive your new pastor.

Some themes will take more than one session, others only one, and still other topics may well arise out of our conversations.  Each week will be largely self-contained so please, join in as often as you are interested and able.  The link is below. It will be the same link for each week.

Adult Forum on Zoom
There will be no Adult Forum this week due to the congregational meeting.
David K will start a new study on the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1 – 7:29) beginning August 16 at 9:30.

“The Sermon on the Mount brings together a lot of Jesus’ moral and ethical teachings in one place and I’ve never spent more than a session on it as part of a larger study of the book of Matthew.  So what I’m planning is a deeper dive into the part of Jesus’ teaching that makes us squirm and explore what it’s saying to us today.”
