Fourth Sunday in Lent March 14, 2021

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here!
This week we hear about Moses & snakes and John 3:16, the gospel in miniature. We are also celebrating Laetare Sunday, which means “to lighten up.” This service is a little lighter, and we hear about the kick-off of Mission: Joy.

Faith Formation

This week we hear more from Pastor Christine & Maddie (and Maddie asks Anita some questions), we sing with Ross, and Anita reads our gospel lesson. The link to the video is HERE.

Hot Chocolate (and coffee) Truck! Tomorrow!

One of the things the pandemic has stripped from my life is easy joy; easy laughter. And so, let’s take an opportunity to make joy our mission! On March 14th, from 11am-1pm, a FREE Hot Chocolate (and coffee) Truck will be at Trinity. Come, drink, be merry (and joyful!). We have purposefully picked the 4th Sunday of Lent, because from a tradition standpoint, it is Laetare Sunday – a day to ‘lighten up’ during Lent, because we know, as Easter people, that we live in the joy of the resurrection, even as we travel through Lent.

We will also be revealing more details about MISSION: JOY on Laetare Sunday, but you’ll need to A) tune in to worship on the 4th Sunday in Lent and/or B) watch your email communications for your mission, should you choose to accept it (said in my very best place secret-coder voice).
