Welcome to our Lenten Resources page. Here you will find just a very few of the many options that are available. A brief description is provided for each resource. All the resources listed here are free. We hope you find one that helps you find some time for reflection and prayer during this holy season.
Blessings on your reflecting and prayer.
Pray-As-You-Go Lenten Retreat: The Cry From the Cross – Pray-As-You-Go is available as a phone app or directly through their website. Their Lenten retreat sessions are released once a week and last about 20 minutes.
Lent Madness is all about the saints! This has become an annual tradition put together by the Episcopal Church. Print the bracket and pick your saints ahead of time or as you vote. You can follow along on the Lent Madness Facebook page where the daily pairings will be posted and give you access to information about each saint and the opportunity to vote. Or you can visit the website Lentmadness.org to access the daily pairs and the printable booklet.
Word-A-Day – is a daily meditation available through email and/or social media platforms. A word is chosen for each day, readings and reflection prompts are provided, and people are encouraged to share their reflections with a photo, artwork, or words. Consider doing this as a family. One popular source is Lent Photo-A-Day.
Story Boarding Church has a family devotional on the theme of games called Game On! For each day you are given a scripture verse, a short reflection, discussion questions, and a closing prayer.
LEAD Connects offers a weekly resource for those who like to color. Consider setting time aside individually, or with family or a small group of friends to reflect on the readings and for prayer.
Looking for music and song for these 40 days? Anam Cara Ministries has curated a Lenten playlist for your time of prayer, reflection, and enjoyment.
