From the Pastor…

Dear People of God,

Sunday is Pentecost – 50 days after Easter. Sometimes called the birthday of the church.

The story goes that the disciples were all together, still trying to figure out what to do next, when the Holy Spirit blew into their lives and fueled their passion to share the good news of the gospel.

On Sunday, the people of God will once again be gathered together in one place (church), still trying to figure out what to do next (mission/vision). And it just may be (!) that the Holy Spirit will move in this place, fill Trinity with renewed excitement, and we will find ourselves bursting with anticipation over what God will do next!

Like the first disciples, we are not left on our own. The Holy Spirit is poured out for us and on us! Imagine what that means!!

Blessings,
Pr Kern

Social Ministry Thank You

The Social Ministry committee thanks you – the Trinity community – for your generous contributions of diapers, infant clothing, and handmade baby afghans to Interfaith Works (IW). Your donations to IW’s Welcome Baby program makes a positive impact on new moms and babies in our local area.

Labyrinth Project: You Can Help!

Joshua B will be leading an Eagle Scout project to build a prayer labyrinth for Trinity on Saturday, June 15, from 9:00 am to about 4:00 pm. We’ll be working out in the large field north of the church and next to the playground. This will involve digging and laying bricks in a circular pattern.

Josh invites all Trinity members who would like to help dig and lay bricks to come for any part of the day. Lunch will be provided for volunteers. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, if they have some, and a personal water bottle. We will have water for refilling.

We’ve created a Sign-up Genius to help us keep track of who is coming. Sign up is at the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4eaca92fa5f94-prayer
