How Can I Support a Good Mission?

Nominate it for a Trinity Mission Endowment Award! The Mission Endowment Committee looks to the congregation for recommendations of organizations to receive awards in the spring. Annually, income from Mission Endowment Fund is used to enhance our mission outreach apart from the operating budget. By sustaining the annual awards, the fund is a gift that keeps on giving!  Mission Endowment Fund awards are made in three categories:
1. Special (non-budgeted) projects of Trinity Lutheran Church – our congregation
2. Special ministries in the community
3. Special benevolence – supporting mission of the church beyond our congregation
Submit nominees to the church office (, or mail it to the church office.  Nominations are due by January 31.

Dinner for Pastor Christine
We are looking to provide a homemade dinner for Pastor Christine and her family on her first day with us (February 1).
We still have openings for a meat dish–lasagna perhaps?, salad, and vegetable sides. We will have someone at the church to collect the food items on Sunday, January 31st from 3 to 4pm (if you bring items earlier, please put them in the Coffee Hour refrigerator). Please see the Sign-Up link below for more details.

Dinner for the Interfaith Women’s Shelter

Coming on February 9 (Tuesday), Trinity will be providing a hot dinner for the residents. Mark your calendar; more details on how to sign up will be in next week’s Tidings and the February Trinitarian.
