Where And When Are Services?

Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 11200 Old Georgetown Road between Tuckerman and Poindexter Lanes in North Bethesda, Maryland. View Map.

The Montgomery County RIDE-ON BUS Route 26 passes Trinity every 30 minutes.

During the summer months of July and August, we have a single service starting at 10:00 a.m.

From September through June, our worship services begin at 8:15 and 10:45 every Sunday morning.

What Should I Expect?

The church entrance from our south parking lot leads directly into our social hall and someone will greet you there. The entrance from our north parking lot leads to a hallway that will also take you to our social hall.

Our worship services combine music, readings, and prayer in a sanctuary that welcomes members, visitors, and guests. Please click HERE for an explanation of the modern stained glass windows of the sanctuary.

We celebrate communion at all Sunday services. All baptized Christians are encouraged to share in this meal of life! If you wish to commune, but cannot come to the altar, please speak with an usher.

My Kids May Not Be Able To Sit Through a Whole Service. Is There Any Help?

For children under three, there is a nursery service provided in a room just off the sanctuary. During many services, there will be a children’s worship service for three- to six-year-olds during the sermon and the offering. There is also seating in the social hall, with loud speakers and glass doors so that you can hear and see the activities in the sanctuary if you feel the need to step out of the room.

How Can I Get Involved?

Trinity offers opportunities for people of all ages to connect with others through worship, fellowship, and service. These opportunities are open to everyone, members and non-members alike. Follow the links below to learn more about:

We invite all people who are interested in joining the congregation to attend a six-week Adult Inquiry class, led by the Pastor. This class is an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective. We receive new members twice a year: at the Easter Vigil and in November. Please contact us for more information.

Can I Get Baptized/Confirmed/Married at Trinity?

Please see our Sacraments and Rites page for information about how to participate in any of these rites at Trinity.
