Trinity welcomes all to a community in Christ, for worship, spiritual growth, music, and service.

Where And When Are Services?

Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 11200 Old Georgetown Road between Tuckerman and Poindexter Lanes in North Bethesda, Maryland. View Map.

The Montgomery County RIDE-ON BUS Route 26 passes Trinity every 30 minutes.

As we transition back to indoor services, our service of Holy Communion begins at 9:30 every Sunday morning.

What Should I Expect?

The church entrance from our south parking lot leads directly into our social hall and someone will greet you there. The entrance from our north parking lot leads to a hallway that will also take you to our social hall.

Our worship services combine music, readings, and prayer in a sanctuary that welcomes members, visitors, and guests.

We celebrate communion at all Sunday services. All baptized Christians are encouraged to share in this meal of life! If you wish to commune, but cannot come to the altar, please speak with an usher.

My Kids May Not Be Able To Sit Through a Whole Service. Is There Any Help?

For children under three, there is a nursery service provided in a room just off the sanctuary. During many services, there will be a children’s worship service for three- to six-year-olds during the sermon and the offering. There is also seating in the social hall, with loud speakers and glass doors so that you can hear and see the activities in the sanctuary if you feel the need to step out of the room.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing, our nursery is temporarily closed. We look forward to the time we can reopen it.
